Notice Description
Salford City Council (SCC) is seeking to create a framework agreement to support the delivery of planned and emergency works across Technical and Highways Works Services. The Highways Construction Team within Technical Services manages the delivery of maintenance and repair of Salford City's highways and footpaths to ensure they are safe to use and fit for purpose for vehicle users, cyclists and pedestrians.
Lot Information
Minor Civils
This is an open tender with a total value of PS40m over the 4 years. The contract is for 3 years with the option to extend for a further 1 year. The contract is for 6 Lots: Lot 1 - Minor Civils Lot 2 - Vehicle Restraint Systems Lot 3 - Drainage Lot 4 - Structures and Bridges Lot 5 - Coring and Site Investigations Lot 6 - Landscaping and Associated Services
Vehicle Restraint Systems Inspection, Installation and Repair ServiceThe requirement of the successful contractors will be to install and maintain Vehicle Restraints Systems on the Salford Road network.
Drainage Investigation and Repair ServiceThe Council is seeking to appoint contractors to deliver the annual Drainage Improvement Programme, Culvert Improvement Programme and stand-alone schemes for Salford Council. The Council is looking for a flexible and dedicated group of contractors with a strong working knowledge of the local network and infrastructure, a contractor that focuses on quality, service and social value and one that is commercially competitive.
Structures and BridgesThe Council requires suitably qualified and experienced contractors who are interested in gaining approval onto a Framework Agreement to undertake general structures works projects including the construction of new highway structures and the maintenance and strengthening of existing highway structures.
Coring and Site InvestigationsThe Council is looking to appoint a contractor to provide the Authority with its Core Sample Testing and Site Investigations. The Council is looking for a flexible and dedicated supplier that has a strong working knowledge of the local network and infrastructure, a supplier that focuses on quality, service and one that is commercially competitive.
Landscape and Associated WorksThe Council requires suitably qualified and experienced contractors who are interested in gaining approval onto a Framework Agreement to undertake Landscape and Associated Works projects including the construction of a diverse range of new hard and soft landscape projects inclusive of appropriate maintenance periods upon completion.
