The Works are the altarations to the landscaping of the existing landlocked backcourt area of Hanover Court. There are two alterative proposals to be priced by the Contractor. Option 1 is the removal of the existing tarmacadam surfacing in the drying area and installation of resin bound surfacing on new tarmacadam base in that area and in previous planted areas together with the cleaning and sealing of the existing brick paving and the installation of resin bound paving over. Option 2 is the removal of all existing brick paving and tarmacadam surfacing generally and installation of resin bound gravel surfacing on new tarmacadam base over all areas Common to both alternatives is the removal of existing rotary dryers, timber benches and timber fencing etc and the installation of new rendered masonry planters, timber bench seating, installation of rotary dryers together with replacement of existing boundary fencing and other associated works. A major issue in carrying out of the works will be the requirement to deliver plant and materials and remove debris either through the building's restricted corridors and doors and/or over the building. One raised planter is the site of the placement of human ashes and is to be retained and protected throughout the currency of the works. Additional information: As per contract documentation
