Dounreay Site Restoration Ltd is placing this transparency notice pursuant to Regulation 32 (1) (2) (b) (iii) to notify economic operators of the intention to place a contract for the Upgrade Refurbishment of NDA20 nucleonics (computer hardware and software) that processes the information from the neutron detecting equipment.

Refurbishment of NDA20 nucleonics (computer hardware and software) that processes the information from the neutron detecting equipment. The objective is to address the obsolescence issues with the current system including the outdated computer, software and spectroscopy electronics. The refurbished system will be fully supportable according to the present service arrangements. Additional information: Dounreay Site Restoration Limited (DSRL) is the site licence company responsible for the clean-up and demolition of Britain's former centre of fast reactor research and development. DSRL is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA). It is funded by the NDA to deliver the site closure programme.
