In consideration of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and post pandemic recovery, plus the material change to the recent CCG structure, NHS Hampshire, Southampton and Isle of Wight CCG is extending the current contract with Nutricia Limited, for the Supply of Enteral Feeds & Associated Products into the Community & Secondary Care for the NHS Southampton City CCG (Host), NHS West Hampshire CCG, Hampshire Hospitals NHS FT, University Hospitals Southampton NHS FT, Solent NHS Trust & Southern Health NHS FT.

In consideration of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and post pandemic recovery, plus the material change to the recent CCG structure, NHS Hampshire, Southampton and Isle of Wight CCG is extending the current contract with Nutricia Limited, for the Supply of Enteral Feeds & Associated Products into the Community & Secondary Care for the NHS Southampton City CCG (Host), NHS West Hampshire CCG, Hampshire Hospitals NHS FT, University Hospitals Southampton NHS FT, Solent NHS Trust & Southern Health NHS FT. The value of the proposed extension has been based on 2019-20 outturn, for all the contracting authorities, at PS879,561 excluding VAT. The specification remains unchanged from that published in the invitation to tender (ITT), except as amended by relevant bidder clarification questions raised during the Tender. Bringing this contract coterminous with the rest of the enteral feed contracts in the Hampshire geography, allows the new CCG and the emerging ICS, to consider all options available for a pan Hampshire service, that can be factored in the next ITT. You will receive an email with your unique password (keep this secure) 6. Login to the portal with the username/password. 7. You will be prompted to change your password on first login. 8. Hover your mouse over the "Tenders" button on the main toolbar and choose the following option: 'Current' which shows a list of all the advertised opportunities on the system (i.e. open to all) 9. Scroll through the opportunities and select 'F6866_VEAT'. 10. Click on the 'View Details' button and 'Express an Interest' where required to do so to gain access to the CCG's document. Further guidance can be found in the 'Help' tab accessible at the top of the screen. All correspondence must be directed via the portal, please do not contact the CCGs direct.
Procurement Information
The regulation relied upon to justify the extension with Nutricia Limited by 7 months is: Regulation 72(1)(c) provides that: where all of the following conditions are fulfilled:- (i) the need for modification has been brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority could not have foreseen; (i) the modification does not alter the overall nature of the contract; (ii) any increase in price does not exceed 50% of the value of the original contract or framework agreement. The following additional rationale justifies the extension. The Contracting Authorities consider that an extension of the Contract is permitted in accordance with Regulation 72(1) (c) of the Public Contract Regulations 2015. COVID-19 has brought about circumstances which the Contracting Authorities could not have foreseen, that the modification does not alter the overall nature of the contract and any increase in price does not exceed 50% of the value of the original contract or framework agreement.
