Notice Description
The Department for the Economy is seeking to procure a Disability Support Service (DSS) to provide specialist and other distinctive disability support in respect of participant's disability needs who participate on the Client's Vocational and Educational Training programmes. Multiple suppliers will deliver specialist training across Northern Ireland. This contract will be subdivided into lots. Tenders may be submitted for 5 Lots comprising of 5 Disability Areas where DSS support may be needed by an eligible participant. These 5 lots are: 1) Cognition and Learning 2) Social, Behavioural, Emotional and Well-Being 3) Speech, Language and Communication Needs 4) Sensory 5) Physical Needs The aim of the DSS is to provide this further support in the form of Pre-Entry Training Support prior to the participant entering a programme and In-Training Disability Support while they are taking part on their programme.
