Summary of the contracting process

Thirteen Housing Group Limited, based in Stockton-on-Tees, is initiating a planned procurement process for its "Enhanced Capital Delivery Programme 2022-2026." This programme, classified under the construction work for multi-dwelling buildings and individual houses (CPV code: 45211000), aims to establish a new partnering framework to deliver a capital investment programme valued at approximately £100 million (excl VAT) over the next four years. An Early Market Engagement Webinar is scheduled for 18 November 2021 at 10:30 am, providing potential suppliers a chance to engage with Thirteen's teams and learn about the investment programme's objectives and requirements.

This tender presents significant opportunities for contractors specialising in property refurbishment, energy efficiency, and retrofitting, particularly those with capabilities in handling complex and high-rise buildings. Businesses that can deliver a comprehensive service encompassing care and support accommodation improvements, energy efficiency interventions, and general property compliance works will be well-positioned to compete. The successful contractors will be expected to provide a 'one-stop shop' service, conducive to minimising procurement complications throughout the duration of the framework.
