Notice Description
Maritime Combat Systems (MCS), Communications and Situational Awareness (CSA) seek to provide In-Service Support (ISS) for Ground Power equipment consisting of "Aircraft Ground Starting and Servicing" (AGSS) & "Aircraft Converted Electrical Supplies" (ACES). ISS of Spares Inclusive of Upkeep (SIU) will consist of spares and repairs contract with some additional Core management services. CAT D project to be awarded Dec 2022.

"description": "The Communications and Situational Awareness (CSA) Team intends to issue a DPQQ in January 2022 with the DPQQ return scheduled for February 2022 and an ITN to be issued to pre-selected bidders in April 2022, with an anticipated return date of May 2022. Scheduled date for award of contract is December 2022. It shall be a Condition of Tendering that you complete the Supplier Assurance Questionnaire (SAQ) to demonstrate compliance with the required cyber risk level of very low. The tender documentation will need to include the Risk Assessment Reference and Cyber Risk Profile, and Tenderers should complete their SAQ using the SAQ Form, which must be returned to ISSDes-DCPP@mod.gov.uk (and included with the tender response). Where your intention is to subcontract any element of the requirement, you must assess the Cyber Risk Profile of the subcontractor and, if the Cyber Risk Profile is higher that 'Not Applicable', require them to complete a SAQ. If you cannot meet the level of security controls required by the potential contract start date a Cyber Implementation Plan (CIP) shall be requested for consideration as part of your tender submission detailing the steps, they would take to meet the necessary controls, together with associated timescales, details of any equivalent standards they have, or reasons why they are unable to comply. Details on the CIP acceptance process is in DEFSTAN 05-138 and guidance on what is expected in a CIP can be found in the Defence Cyber Protection Partnership (DCPP) Cyber Security Model (CSM) Industry Buyer and Supplier Guide.
