Summary of the contracting process

The procurement process involves the North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative (NOE CPC), which is seeking to establish a framework agreement for Legal Services. This initiative falls under the industry category of business services, particularly law and consulting, and is located in the UK. This tender, registered as CPC 03665, was initiated through an open procedure and is currently in the Award stage. The framework will appoint up to 12 high-quality legal service providers, allowing eligible entities in the public sector to utilise the services without needing to go through a separate procurement process. The deadline for this bidding opportunity is not specified but is part of an ongoing framework to be managed by NOE CPC.

This tender offers significant opportunities for law firms looking to expand their client base within the public sector, particularly those that specialise in providing comprehensive legal services. Large legal service providers with established track records are well-suited for this competition, alongside small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that can deliver specific legal advisory services. The framework will enhance collaboration among various NHS Trusts and other public bodies, thereby opening avenues for firms to engage in long-term contracts within the UK's healthcare sector.
