Summary of the contracting process

Scottish Water is seeking bids for the "Repair & Maintenance Services for NIGG WWTW CHP Engines" project, which falls under the services category of repair and maintenance. This procurement process is currently in the Tender stage, with submissions due by 14 January 2022. The project is situated in Nigg, Scotland, and is valued at £700,000. The procurement follows a selective method, with potential bidders required to complete a pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ), and there is a possibility of dividing the contract into lots at the award stage.

This tender presents a valuable opportunity for businesses specialising in maintenance and repair services, particularly those experienced with Combined Heat and Power (CHP) systems, such as the Jenbacher J320. Companies that can demonstrate strong financial standing, technical expertise, and the capability to provide 24/7 support, as well as compliance with environmental regulations, would be well-suited to compete. By engaging in this contract, businesses have the potential to expand their operations while contributing to Scottish Water's net zero ambitions through enhanced energy efficiency and plant performance.
