    "description": "NHSGGC has chosen to publish a voluntary ex ante transparency (VEAT) notice on PCS. In accordance with: 'The Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015, SSI 2015/446 1 91(7)(a)',in line with the practices of: Fairness; Openness and Transparency. A VEAT is the best legal procurement route to take because the disruption that would be a result of installing a new system would be significant and would have wide reaching consequences impacting: Staff; Patients and Services. The contract will be for an initial 4 year period with the option to extend for a further 1x12 months. (SC Ref:696416)",

Offering a greater degree of reassurance for employees working late hours was of primary importance to the project, however, devices were to remain discreet for the comfort of patients within the mental health facility.
