Notice Description
The SESLIP encourages and supports the political and professional leadership and management of local authority Children's Services, to demonstrate, develop and share good practice. Our programmes support the development of Children's Services as learning organisations, focusing on:* identifying key strands of enquiry* analysing and comparing operational data about the services* using evidence to inform decisions, including evidence available from outside the region, where relevant* using peer challenge and peer review* building leadership capacity and capability* developing standards of practice through supportive endeavourThere is a Regional Improvement Plan which sets out the activities. Its aim is to identify ways in which local authorities in the South East can support each other to improve and look at how collective action can help address systemic issues within the region. This Approved List is for the suitably qualified freelance consultants.

The South East Sector Led Improvement Programme (SESLIP) encourages and supports the political and professional leadership and management of local authority Children's Services, to demonstrate, develop and share good practice. Our programmes support the development of Children's Services as learning organisations, focusing on:* identifying key strands of enquiry* analysing and comparing operational data about the services* using evidence to inform decisions, including evidence available from outside the region, where relevant* using peer challenge and peer review* building leadership capacity and capability* developing standards of practice through supportive endeavourThis Approved List list is for suitably qualified freelance consultants, who are available on an ad hoc basis to support one or more of the activities of the programme. Additional information: The estimated value given in II.2.6 is the value of all call-off contracts awarded under this Approved List. It is anticipated that the total value of all Call-off Consultancy Contracts that will be completed by the Approved Consultants is PS250,000-500,000 per annum, depending on need and grant value.
Renewal: This Approved List can be extended for up to 5 years, or as long as the SESLIP exists and requires the Approved List, whichever comes first.
