Civil Engineering Works and Associated Services (including Roads and Roads Maintenance) - New PIN Notice
Notice Description
Scottish Ministers have been working closely with industry and issues this Prior Information Notice (PIN) to advise of our intention to establish a national framework for Civil Engineering Works and Associated Services (including Roads and Roads Maintenance). This notice serves to alert the marketplace to this potential upcoming opportunity. This will be a four-year period multi-lot, multi-supplier framework with works of varying size, value and complexity across Scotland can be individually called-off, as required by Scottish public sector organisations. As outlined, the Framework will be split geographically and will feature multi-value and multi-supplier Lots, the details of which will be contained in the published Contract Notice. The Framework terms and conditions will be based on NEC 4 with call-off Contract (work order) terms being based on the NEC Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC); NEC Engineering and Construction Short Contract (ECSC); with Term Service Contract (TSC) and Term Service Short Contract (TSSC).

The framework will be split into Geographical Value Based Lots the detail of which will be confirmed within the published Contract Notice. Additional information: This PIN is for information gathering purposes only and is not a call for competition. For the avoidance of doubt, a response to this PIN shall not constitute any form of contract with Scottish Government.
