Notice Description

RBWM wishes to maintain the best possible care for service users by procuring the domiciliary care packages in the most effective way, delivering the best value from the public funds available. The Authority wishes to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of domiciliary care services for adults. The duration of DPS is 5 years with the option to extend for further 2 years. The purpose of this procurement is to seek and appoint providers to the DPS, who have the relevant skills and experience, for the delivery of personal care and support (domiciliary care) to adults in their homes. This DPS will be established under the light touch regime enabling RBWM to set the required criteria and way of operating DPS to meet requirements of RBWM in a best way . All providers who wish to join will have to meet the criteria as specified in the PQQ documentation. The services required are defined in a greater detail in the Specification which forms part of the PQQ documents.

2.4 The Service will be procured using a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) which the Authority wishes to establish. All contracts awarded under DPS are demand led and eligibility to be the Provider to the Authority is dependent on Providers first successfully passing the Stage 1 (the admission to the DPS) of the process. The providers who provide compliant submissions ("applications for admission") in line with the call to competition notice (ref FF8 Domiciliary Services) and meet the selection criteria and are not excluded will be admitted to the DPS. This includes, but is not limited to, Providers: * Holding a Care Quality Commission rating of "Good" or "Outstanding" in the office this Domiciliary Care Service would operate from; and * Passing appropriate references regarding their financial standing and status; and * Passing the quality threshold as more particularly described in the pre-contract Tender documentation. This DPS will be established under the light touch regime enabling RBWM to set the required criteria and way of operating DPS to meet requirements of RBWM in a best way . All providers who wish to join will have to meet the criteria as specified in the PQQ documentation. The services required are for adults and need to be provided 7 days a week as/when required for residents of the RBWM area, whom have been assessed by the Authority as requiring domiciliary support services.
