**PRE-MARKET ENGAGEMENT EXERCISE** The PSNI is preparing to initiate a procurement process to establish a contract for the provision of 24/7 custody healthcare, in accordance with Police and Criminal Evidence (Northern Ireland) Order, Codes of Practice C (PACE), which sets out the statutory requirement for clinical treatment and attention for detainees'. Construction and Procurement Delivery (CPD) is undertaking this Market Sounding exercise on behalf of the PSNI and is inviting suitably qualified and experienced suppliers, who may have an interest in this project, to complete a questionnaire to assist PSNI gain a better understanding of the feasibility of their requirements, the most appropriate approach, the capacity of the market to deliver the services and any possible risks or issues that may not have previously been considered.

As part of the preparation, Construction and Procurement Delivery (CPD) is undertaking a Market Sounding exercise on behalf of the PSNI and is inviting suitably qualified and experienced suppliers, who may have an interest in this project, to complete a questionnaire to assist PSNI gain a better understanding of the feasibility of their requirements, the most appropriate approach, the capacity of the market to deliver the services and any possible risks or issues that may not have previously been considered.**PLEASE NOTE: ALL COMPLETED QUESTIONNAIRES MUSTBE SUBMITTED VIA THE MESSAGING FUNCTION on eTendersNI, BEFORE 3PM ON THE DATE SPECIFIED BELOW UNDER **PLEASE NOTE: ALL COMPLETED QUESTIONNAIRES MUST BE SUBMITTED VIA THE MESSAGING FUNCTION on eTendersNI, BEFORE 3PM ON THE DATE SPECIFIED IN THE QUESTIONNAIRE UNDER ' Instructions for Responding to the Questionnaire'. Additional information: PSNI may wish to follow up the questionnaire responses with a face to face or virtual one to one session with respondents. It is anticipated that these meetings may take place in March or April 2022. Each meeting will provide an opportunity for further mutual understanding of any potential issues around the requirement including any risks or issues that may not have previously been considered.In the event that PSNI cannot accommodate one to one sessions with all respondents, the PSNI reserves the right to make a random selection based upon supplier capability.
