Summary of the contracting process

The NHS London Procurement Partnership is currently managing the tender process for the "Health and Social Care Apps DPS," a dynamic purchasing system aimed at providing public sector bodies with access to software solutions that support health and social care needs. This procurement falls under the goods category, specifically in the software package and information systems sector, with the tender having an expiration date of 29 November 2022. The system facilitates procurement for various applications across multiple health-related categories, including child health, diabetes, mental health, and Covid-19 support solutions. Interested bidders must now submit their applications via the Atamis eTendering portal rather than the previous ProContract portal, which will be closed to new applications from 9 February 2022.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in software development, particularly those with solutions that cater to healthcare applications. Companies that have expertise in clinical software, mobile health technologies, and bespoke health and social care platforms will be particularly well-suited to compete. With the dynamic purchasing system's broad scope covering multiple medical specialities, participating businesses can foster growth and expand their market reach by engaging with NHS services and other public sector organisations in need of innovative and clinically beneficial applications.
