Summary of the contracting process

The Newark & Sherwood District Council is planning a soft market testing exercise titled "Soft Market Testing: Housing Management System". This procurement process falls within the software package and information systems industry, specifically classified under goods. The engagement aims to gather insights for a future cloud-based social housing management system and invites interested organisations to submit their views by 12:00 noon on Thursday, 14th April 2022. The responses received will inform the decision-making process moving forward.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in IT services, particularly those with expertise in consulting, software development, and systems integration. Companies that can demonstrate experience in cloud-based solutions and managing social housing functionalities such as application, tenancy, and repairs management would be well suited to compete. The feedback from this exercise could lead to future contracts as the Council assesses potential suppliers for its housing management needs.
