Summary of the contracting process

The Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust has initiated a public procurement process titled "Apprenticeship Standards for HEE North West Region Primary & Social Care Employers," focused on delivering education and training services specifically in the primary and social care sectors. The procurement is currently active and follows a selective procurement method, with a tender period ending on 11th April 2022. Interested providers must have previously submitted a response to Salisbury's Apprenticeship Education Framework by the deadline of 31st March 2022 to participate. The intended procurement will cater to various contracting bodies across the UK, specifically within the health and education sectors, including local authorities and NHS bodies in the North West region.

This tender offers significant growth opportunities for businesses engaged in apprenticeship training, especially those already recognised on Salisbury’s Apprenticeship Framework. Providers with a strong track record in primary and social care education may particularly benefit. Businesses that can demonstrate proven learner success rates and compliance with Ofsted requirements will be well-positioned to compete effectively. By supplying high-quality apprenticeship training, businesses can align themselves with regional workforce needs and contribute to the enhancement of primary and social care services in the area.
