Scottish Canals-Architect and Design Framework
Notice Description
This new contract is required to provide access to a range of design disciplines via the appointment of a lead consultant. The services offered will cover a broad range of design elements required during the development and implementation stages of a range of projects of varying scale. Please see Appendix B, which identifies the key Design Team skills that may be required, but not limited to, during the course of the framework period.
Lot Information
Scottish Canals- Architect and Design Framework Lot 1
Lot 1 - Medium to High Value or Risk Projects / Work Lot 1 will be used to deliver our core projects or work required by Scottish Canals. It is likely that the project will require multi discipline design input through RIBA stages 0 to 6 although some projects may require input at selected stage(s) only. Examples of the type of projects that have been carried out in the past are given in Appendix A.
Scottish Canals- Architect and Design Framework Lot 2Lot 2 - Low Value or Risk Projects / Work Lot 2 has been introduced as part of this framework to deliver more straightforward work that may only include selected delivery stages with a reduced number of design disciplines required. The type of work envisaged for this lot may include items such as drawing updates or internal layout plans. The requirements for Lot 2 do not require the same level of experience, as wide a range of disciplines, and have a lower level of insurance cover needed.
