Surrey and Borders NHS Foundation Trust as the Contracting Authority on behalf of NHS Commercial Solutions, in collaboration with North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative, NHS London Procurement Partnership, East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub and Crown Commercial Services, working together under the banner of the Workforce Alliance exploring the feasibility of using recruitment suppliers to support Central Government Departments and all other UK (and any Crown Dependencies) Public Sector Bodies identified at VI.3) (and any future successors to these organisations), including Central Government Departments and their Arm's Length Bodies and agencies, Non Departmental Public Bodies, NHS bodies and Local Authorities, Health, Police, Fire and Rescue, Education and Devolved Administrations in successfully attracting suitable healthcare professionals from overseas.

Lot 1

Although intention is that the contract will be divided into lots, the final lot structure is not yet decided and will be informed by the findings of our planned wider stakeholder and Market engagement. The agreed lot structure will be communicated in the Contract Notice and ITT. It is intended that any resulting framework or dynamic purchasing system (DPS) will be able to meet the Healthcare and Social Care needs in line with the Long term and People Plans in relation to ethical recruitment and retention of permanent staff, covering the job roles as detailed in the links below https://www.nhsemployers.org/articles/national-job-profiles https://www.nhsemployers.org/sites/default/files/2021-12/Job%20profile%20index%20latest%20December%202021.xlsx Please note, these job roles as listed are not exhaustive and will include other healthcare professionals as identified from time to time. Any resulting framework dynamic purchasing system (DPS) will ensure that all recruitment activities will be ethical, ensure that overseas staff to be recruited are competent in their field of speciality, have English language skills to carry out their roles, ensure provision of Pastoral, training, and relocation prior to recruitment and to ensure to support a high level of retention of staff once recruited.
