Summary of the contracting process

Newham Council is planning to develop an Accommodation Management System aimed at health and social work services. This tender is currently in the planning stage, with an invitation for organisations experienced in Supported Living to engage with the council. Key details include the deadline for inquiries on 25th April 2022, by 5 pm, and the location of the project, which will serve various boroughs in North East London. The procurement is based on a legal framework established by the EU directive (CELEX 32014L0024). This initiative is part of a broader effort to improve service delivery across the region.

This tender presents an excellent opportunity for businesses in the health and social care sectors, particularly those specialising in accommodation management, supported living, and related software solutions. Companies that can demonstrate innovative service delivery models and effective integration capabilities with case management systems will be well-positioned to compete. As the functionality requirements evolve, interested providers are encouraged to submit their information and insights to inform the subsequent design of the system, potentially leading to future contracts across the North East London area.
