Rapid identification of asymptomatic close contacts remains a key component to containing outbreaks. Early detection of cases reduces onward transmission of COVID-19. A rapid, flexible service to provide PCR testing or LFD testing (in emergency response only) for COVID-19 outbreaks remains an essential component of Hertfordshire County Council's response and testing strategy. This service will provide a service for community settings and Independent Mental Healthcare providers and includes, but is not limited to:* High risk workplaces e.g., factories, processing plants, offices * Educational settings, including universities, colleges and in exceptional circumstances, special schools* Retirement homes* Children's residential homes * Adult residential homes* Adult nursing homes* Refuges and homeless shelters* Prisons (The Mount Prison,) covering staff only, not prisoners * Communities with enduring transmission
