FECTF - New building- Sports hall and classrooms

Notice Description

Loughborough College is seeking expressions of interest from qualified consultants to be appointed on the design team for the New Sports Hall and Specialist Teaching Block construction project. The proposed Sports Hall and Specialist Teaching Block consists of a 3000m2 standalone building for the College's nationally renowned Sports Curriculum. The new facility will include general teaching rooms that are flexible, a breakout/collaboration area, a Sports Hall, and a small staff base. The new Sports Hall and Specialist Teaching Block will be built next to the existing 4G and grass sports fields. The existing single-story pavilion/changing block will have to be demolished. The project's funding has been approved in principle via the Further Education Capital Transformation Fund Stage 2 application. The overall project is circa PS12million including vat with an expected completion date of summer 2025.
