ORE Catapult is extending its operations at its Blyth site to create a Technology Development Centre ("TDC") by refurbishing a storage shed, currently known as Shed D. The aspiration for the refurbished building and the new office space is for it to both reflect and inspire the innovative and renewable energy creative nature of the business. ORE Catapult require the fabric of the building to be refurbished and to create a two (2) storey office space within the building.

Lot 1

ORE Catapult is extending its operations at its Blyth site to create a Technology Development Centre ("TDC") by refurbishing a storage shed, currently known as Shed D. The aspiration for the refurbished building and the new office space is for it to both reflect and inspire the innovative and renewable energy creative nature of the business. ORE Catapult require the fabric of the building to be refurbished and to create a two (2) storey office space within the building.

Lot 2

1. Supply and install a ring main switch within the BT2 11kV switch room 2. Supply and installation of underground cabling 3. Construction of an external transformer compound 4. Construct a HV switch room within the building to accommodate all of the electrical switch gear 5. Supply and install within the above compound 2 (two) 1MVA 11kV to 415V transformers and 1 (one) 0.5MVA transformer and cabling to the HV switch gear. 6. Provide earthing. 7. Provide lightning protection 8. Provide a LV distribution panel and supply cable, auxiliary supply cable, VSD supply cable and motor supply cable 9. Provide a LV distribution panel and cabling for the wind tunnel 10 A building services distribution board and cable as well as cabling for the building services,

Options: Optional requirement subject to budget availability Supply and installation of electrical infrastructure to support the mini eGrid Project which includes: a. One 2MVA 11kV transformer and cabling to the HV switch gear . b. LV distribution panel, cable to the 2MVA transformer and auxiliary supply cable via ducting Approx value - PS110,000

Lot 3

ORE Catapult has a requirement to construct permanent weather proofing to a 6MW bearing test rig at its site in Blyth, Northumberland, which would require a footprint of approximately 8m by 8m to a height in the region of 10m; . Design and installation of a weather proofing solution to protect the central 'hub' region of the test rig to replace the short-term temporary solution that is currently in place. ORE Catapult is seeking prices for both single & double skin buildings
