Notice Description
Norfolk County Council has entered into a framework agreement with contractors for general building works, plumbing and mechanical and electrical services across Norfolk and adjoining counties. There are 3 Lots (Lot 1 subdivided in to two value ranges) Lot 1 - General Building - sub divided into Lot1A up to PS200k, and Lot 1B PS200k - PS800kLot 2 - Plumbing and Mechanical - up to PS200kLot 3 - Electrical - up to PS200kAppointed contractors will be invited to participate in further competitions for work, with successful providers being awarded contracts for individual projects.

Plumbing and MechanicalWork ordered under this category will be for minor installation projects with the majority of work being new or replacement mechanical services, including general plumbing and sanitary ware installations, hot and cold-water services, heating and ventilation systems, air conditioning and plant replacements.Typically, works will involve the management of multiple trades and/or sub-contractors at operational sites, where close communication with the site users and the project team is essential. Type of work procured under this category is likely to include:* Mechanical services within extensions to existing buildings* Mechanical services within renovations and refurbishments of existing buildings* Mechanical services within new buildings* Fit out of new and refurbishment of existing plant rooms * Demolitions/removal of redundant mechanical services plant/equipment* Installation/replacement of mechanical services within historic and listed buildings
