Notice Description
The supply and delivery of frozen food to East Riding of Yorkshire Council and North Lincolnshire Council and forms part of the "Catering" category of Council requirements. The contract covers a broad range of frozen goods for direct delivery to schools, social services establishments, leisure sites, civic functions and restaurants across the East Riding of Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.
Lot Information
Lot 1 - Groceries
The supply and delivery of frozen food to East Riding of Yorkshire Council and North Lincolnshire Council and forms part of the "Catering" category of Council requirements. The contract covers a broad range of frozen goods for direct delivery to schools, social services establishments, leisure sites, civic functions and restaurants across the East Riding of Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.
Options: Option to extend up to 2 x 12 month periods subject to satisfactory performance and at the discretion of the Authority. Such extensions shall be a value of 900k per 12 month period.
Renewal: There is a possibility that this framework will be renewed after 3.5 years from the commencement date.
Lot 2 - Frozen FoodsCovers any frozen food item including (but not limited to): frozen fruit and vegetables, frozen meat and poultry, frozen fish, frozen pizza, frozen bread products, frozen desserts and ice cream.
Renewal: There is a possibility that this framework will be renewed after 3.5 years from the commencement date.
Lot 3 - Fresh Fruit & VegetablesCovers fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, pre-packed prepared fresh fruit, and pre-packed prepared fresh vegetables.
Renewal: There is a possibility that this framework will be renewed after 3.5 years from the commencement date.
Lot 4 - Dairy, Chilled, Delicatessen Foods and EggsCovers (but not limited to) milk (including school milk if available), chilled yoghurts, cheese, margarines, butter, processed dairy products, chilled sandwich fillings, fresh free-range eggs, chilled delicatessen products such as pasties, pies, quiches etc.
Renewal: There is a possibility that this framework will be renewed after 3.5 years from the commencement date.
Lot 5 - MeatCovers (but not limited to) fresh, quick frozen and cooked meats, poultry, sausage, bacon and processed meat-based products. For the avoidance of doubt, frozen Meat Products are also applicable to Category 2, but are likely to be part of a wider basket of frozen goods when purchased under Category 2.
Renewal: There is a possibility that this framework will be renewed after 3.5 years from the commencement date.
Lot 6 - Bakery GoodsCovers (but not limited to) fresh bread and bread products, fresh pastry products, freshly baked cookies/cakes/doughnuts/scones etc., premium cakes and gateaux. For the avoidance of doubt, frozen Bread Products will normally be covered under Lot 2

Lot 7 - Multi-Category MixSome customers may have requirements which span across multiple categories, and they may prefer to deal with a single supplier on a one-stop-shop basis to simplify account management, achieve economy of scale or to reduce deliveries and therefore contribute to a reduced carbon footprint. YPO is looking for Suppliers who can provide a one-stop-shop service by supplying products in two or more of Categories: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
Renewal: There is a possibility that this framework will be renewed after 3.5 years from the commencement date.
