Summary of the contracting process

Phoenix Natural Gas is seeking suppliers for a Distribution Contract (05) in Northern Ireland. The contract involves the development of gas pipelines over an 8-year period, estimated to cover 380,000 metres of polyethylene gas mains and 55,000 connections to properties. The procurement process, currently in the planning stage, will be conducted through a web portal. Interested businesses are advised to anticipate the Call for Competition to be issued later in 2022.

This tender from Phoenix Natural Gas presents a significant opportunity for businesses involved in construction work for gas pipelines. With an estimated contract value of 90 million GBP over an eight-year period, this project offers substantial potential for growth. Suppliers with experience in gas pipeline construction and related services would be well-suited to compete in this selective procurement process.
