Notice Description
This service will: support adults in Kingston to stop smoking and learn skills and strategies to prevent relapse contribute to reductions in smoking prevalence within Kingston through the delivery of a high quality, comprehensive, co-ordinated, accessible, evidence based and sustainable stop smoking service contribute to reducing tobacco use through active participation in the local Joint Tobacco Control Alliance and delivery of the assigned actions in the action plan to deliver the local Tobacco Control Strategy

Lot 1
A full, open and compliant procurement exercise under PCR 2015 has been undertaken. The procurement followed an open procedure under the PCR Light Touch Regime (reg 74-76) to source a single provider for the provision of services resulting in a positive outcome. An Invitation To Tender and FTS notice was issued on 22nd August 2022 through the procurement e-portal and the tender closed on 29th September 2022. The procurement was undertaken in three stages, including Stage 1 Compliance (pass/fail minimum standards), Stage 2 Quality (Method Statements) and Stage 3 Price (pass/fail.)
Renewal: The Authority is seeking to award a contract to a provider for an initial period of 3 years with the option to extend by a further period of 2 years (1+1) = 5 years.
