The Satellite Applications Catapult is seeking to undertake a Request for Proposal (RFP) to procure 3 x 5G Popup Mast / Cell-on Wheels (CoW) assembly solutions . This is in a preliminary exploration phase. The exact value is not yet known, hence why no estimate of goods has been provided as part of this PIN.

Lot Information

3 x Masts

Lot 2 - 3 x Masts. Each mast comprising of at least: Telescopic/retractable mast (up to 12m) 3 X directional antenna and 1 omni directional for the shared spectrum range of 3.8 to 4.2 GHz (e.g. similar to AW3828, AW3825) - with ability to selectively turn on/off different antenna Suitable BBUs, RRUs (subject to 3.) to drive the antenna - delivering a strong signal within a 1 Km radius range 5G Core Network hosted on suitable COTS HW (HP/Dell) on the trailer MEC platform/UPF on separate platform (HP/Dell) on the trailer High throughput satellite backhaul (either use of adjustable or auto-pointing antenna) this is for access to internet/DN or remote 5G Core Cabinet with sufficient space to be able to add additional equipment in future Extendable architecture of the setup to allow for different hardware to be added as needed

3 x Trailers

Lot 1 - 3 x Trailers comprising of at least: A trailer (with external power feed, inbuilt power generator, refrigerated cabinet for kit, etc) (can be towed using another vehicle).
