Recyclables and Waste Collection Services Contract
Notice Description
This notice relates to the award of Herefordshire Councils Recyclables and Waste Collection Services Contract. The Council used the Competitive Dialogue procedure for the procurement of the contract, which was conducted in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015. The process sought to develop bold and innovative approaches to service delivery, that respond to the climate emergency by exploring low carbon options and ensure that residents are placed at the heart of service design and delivery.

This notice relates to the award of Herefordshire Councils Recyclables and Waste Collection Services Contract. The Council used the Competitive Dialogue procedure for the procurement of the contract, which was conducted in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015. The process sought to develop bold and innovative approaches to service delivery, that respond to the climate emergency by exploring low carbon options and ensure that residents are placed at the heart of service design and delivery.
Options: Options provided under this Contract include: If instructed by the Council in accordance with Schedule 12 (Change Protocol), or change in law, introduce additional recycling streams including for example food waste, garden waste and paper and card with potential changes in collection frequency.
Renewal: Initial Contract will be for 8 years plus option for up to a maximum extension of 12 years is available in periods of no less than one (1) year and no more than a single extension period of twelve (12) years
