LSA Catering Tender
Notice Description
The London Screen Academy is a specialist Sixth Form Academy in the London Borough of Islington. Part of the Day One Trust, it has over 798 students on roll and over 80 teaching and support staff. The Academy is located in a former factory in Islington. The 80,000Sq Ft factory was built in the 1930s and was transformed into a world class film school in 2019. There is one busy main restaurant with a very modern, professionally equipped kitchen and a spacious restaurant. A third floor cafe is currently mothballed as the service is not commercially viable at this point. The incumbent caterer is the Pollen Partnership. The Academy is pushing ahead with plans to revitalise the services and manage operating costs on site quickly. The start date for the new contract is February 9th 2023 - the start of the half term break. This is a challenging timescale and as a result the tender will be an accelerated, restricted process.
