The Royal Parks (TRP) is placing this Notice to make the market aware of the opportunity to visit the Hyde Park Winter Wonderland Festival (HPWW)l between 18 November 2022 and 2 January 2023. Potential strategic partners who may be interested in operating HPWW in future years are encouraged to visit the event themselves to support them in responses to any future formal market engagement and/or procurement activity.

The Royal Parks (TRP) is placing this PIN in advance of any subsequent formal market testing and/or procurement for the operation and partnering concession contract for Hyde Park Winter Wonderland (HPWW). HPWW is a world-leading Christmas festival event and arguably one of Europe's biggest destination Christmas events. In recent years it has attracted over 3,000,000 visitors over the 6-week trading period. Except for 2020 and 2021, during the Covid-19 pandemic, HPWW has traded successfully for 15 years and is growing in popularity each year. The Notice informs the market that the 2022 event is operating in Hyde Park from Friday, 18 November 2022 to Monday, 2 January 2023. Therefore, it is an appropriate time for the market to visit the event. However, please note that this would not be a hosted or guided invitation, and anyone wishing to visit the event will need to purchase a visitor ticket to enter the event. You can obtain information on the event and purchase tickets by visiting www.hydeparkwinterwonderland.com. If your organisation has questions about HPWW formal market engagement and/or procurement activity, please respond to this Notice via the Delta portal messaging system by 5 pm on Monday, 5 December 2022. Additional information: The estimated value at II.1.5) is not reflective of the current contract value. This would be confirmed in any subsequent procurement notice. The estimated date of publication at II.3) refers to the Summer of 2023 and is not guaranteed. The procurement timetable would be confirmed in any subsequent notice. The CPV code 79953000 (Festival organisation services) is also considered applicable.
