HES requires a Footpath Repair & Erosion Control service in Holyrood Park, Edinburgh. Holyrood Park is unique in its setting within the heart of Edinburgh on account of its archaeology, geology and flora and as such is protected as a scheduled monument holding SSSI status. The park is a 650-acre site which is open to the public. The work is for general path repairs and erosion control. The appointed contractor must be able to begin work as required from the point of contract award.
Renewal: The contract may be extended for two further 12 month periods, subject to satisfactory performance and continued requirement. If both extensions are activated then the total contract length will be 5 years (60 months).
