The digital PCR system is required for the amplification and detection of nucleic acid and will be used in basic research, GMP assay development and in future novel ATMP release assays.

Lot 1

SNBTS TCAT require a digital PCR machine for the development of QA/QC release assays with as high a sensitivity as possible. The expectation from ATMP regulators is that all manufacturers should be ensuring that their product release assays offer the highest standards of safety for the end user, and that the gold standard of testing is utilised. Access to digital PCR will ensure SNBTS are prospectively placed for producing assays of the highest sensitivity and specificity for the release criteria of future ATMP products.

Renewal: The Authority shall be entitled, at its option, to continue this Agreement beyond the Initial Term for five (5) twelve (12) Contract Month periods subject to giving not less than six (6) Contract Months' notice to the Contractor.
