Notice Description

Provision of a Frankie Worker and Sexual Crime Therapeutic provision across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. The service will provide Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton residents with therapeutic support including trauma informed counselling for victims and survivors of sexual crime (rape, sexual abuse, assault or violence) of any age and gender whose experience occurred at any time in their lives. This service will be provided in accordance with NICE Guideline (NG116) published in December 2018, which updates and replaces the NICE Clinical Guideline (CG26) published in March 2005.

Frankie Workers

The recruitment and employment of Frankie Workers and Play Therapist(s) to provide one-to-one therapeutic counselling and play therapy support to children and young people aged 0-18 years, categorised as Tier Four who are victims of sexual abuse, sexual exploitation or female genital mutilation. Tier Four are categorised using the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Safeguarding Children Partnership and Children's Thresholds Chart July 2019 to recruit and employ a Child and Family Support Worker, a trauma trained practitioner who will provide interim support and trauma case support until 1-2-1 counselling commences.

Options: The maximum contract term of 66 months (5.5 years) consists of an initial term of 18 months with 2 extension periods of up to 2 years each, subject to satisfactory performance and available funding.

Sexual Crime Therapeutic Support - Hampshire Central and North

Provision of a therapeutic support service to Central and North Hampshire, which includes one-to-one counselling and other therapeutic support/activities and a telephone helpline to help adults, children and young people, of any age or gender who have experienced sexual abuse, assault, rape or violence whose experience occurred at any time in their lives. Support will be provided to children and young people categorised as Tier One to Three using the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Safeguarding Children Partnership and Children's Thresholds Chart July 2019.

Options: The maximum contract term of 66 months (5.5 years) consists of an initial term of 18 months with 2 extension periods of up to 2 years each, subject to satisfactory performance and available funding.
