Summary of the contracting process

The City of Edinburgh Council has completed the Edinburgh Factoring Framework Agreement tender process for property management services of real estate on a fee or contract basis. The framework encompasses existing and new build sites, with an estimated total spend of £4-8 million over 4 years. The Council is the buying organisation located in Edinburgh, UK (postcode: EH8 8BG). Companies specialising in factoring services for mixed tenure developments would be well-suited to compete. The selection criteria require tenderers to be registered on the professional register maintained under the Property Factors (Scotland) Act 2011 and meet economic, financial, and technical suitability requirements. Key dates included the tender period ending on February 20, 2023, and the bid opening on the same day, with a potential for contract recurrence in late 2027.
