The technical specification of the solution is the only solution that can meet the full range of the University's requirements, which includes but is not limited to: * A resilient cloud software platform with remote access from anywhere at any time, which is not reliant on client software. * Utilising LAN connection to the university network to ensure resilience in event of wifi failure. * ISO accredited sensor calibration, and remote troubleshooting. * A 24/7/365 call centre alarm response for high-value, and high-risk units. * Mains AC power supply for power resilience, with back-up long-life batteries in the event of power failure. * An audible alarm from the sensor itself, meaning problems can be attended to without having to consult the portal.
