Through-life support for in-service Airborne Equipment, including Parachutes, Air Commodities, Spares and Ancillaries. This shall also include the procurement of capital spares, their components & ancillaries, and for engineering technical advice.
Options: Two twelve month options (2 x 12months)
Procurement Information
It has been determined that this contract can be placed using the Negotiated Procedure Without Prior Publication of a Contract Notice in accordance with Regulation 16(1)(a)(ii) of the Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011 (DSPCR 2011) for technical reasons due to IrvinGQ Limited being the sole Design Organisation (DO), and/or Original Equipment Manufacturer and sole distributor of items approved by the relevant system Coordinating Design Organisations, for the ADE, AFE systems. As such they are deemed by the respective Type Airworthiness Authorities (TAAs) and Engineering Authorities (EAs) to be the only Design Organisation Approval Scheme (DAOS) approved supplier that meets the Safety and Airworthiness requirements to provide and maintain the AE systems.
