Notice Description

The University of Exeter has embarked on a Discovery phase in relation to its Student Information System (SIS) exploring a range of options from optimisation of our current solution through to possible desired future state and supply relationship. This Discovery phase seeks to assess the current availability of viable Student Information Systems within the market, which deliver suitable functionality for UK Higher Education needs now, and have the vision to continue to meet these into the future. The University is keen to explore all options that may be available and interested parties are invited to complete and return a questionnaire. The deadline for the receipt of completed questionnaires is 12:00 (Noon) on the 6th April 2023.

The University of Exeter has embarked on a Discovery phase in relation to its Student Information System (SIS) exploring a range of options from optimisation of our current solution through to possible desired future state and supply relationship. The current Student Information System sits at the heart of our education delivery. Directly, or indirectly through integrations delivering on everything from; admissions and registrations, student records and student life, teaching and assessments, awards and graduation, through to HESA statutory returns. This Discovery phase seeks to assess current availability of viable Student Information Systems within the market, which deliver suitable functionality to deliver on UK Higher Education needs now, and have the vision to continue to meet these into the future. The University would like to understand where solutions sit on the on-premise to cloud spectrum, and where solutions have transitioned to cloud, or have a cloud offering alongside on prem to gain insight as to the maturity of the cloud based capability and the degree of take up with the HE sector. The University is keen to explore all options that may be available in the marketplace and interested parties are invited to complete and return a questionnaire. The deadline for the receipt of completed questionnaires is 12:00 (Noon) on the 6th April 2023. Information received as part of this Discovery exercise shall be used to help shape the University's strategy and scope of any resulting procurement process. Please Note: The University is conducting this Discovery exercise to allow interested parties with appropriate experience to provide details of suitable solutions to the University, with no commitment to themselves, or the University. This is NOT a call for competition at this stage.
