SMBC has undertaken a negotiated procedure without prior publication to award the contract to the incumbent supplier, Little Wolf Entertainment Ltd. This procurement has been conducted pursuant to Regulation 32 of the Public Contract Regulations 2015 - Negotiated procedure without prior publication (2b): - where the works, supplies or services can be supplied only by a particular economic operator for any of the following reasons:- (i)the aim of the procurement is the creation or acquisition of a unique work of art or artistic performance. The market was assessed and found no suitable frameworks available and due to the current venue size, capacity and the niche nature of the contract requirements, a competitive procedure will not secure value for money for the contracting authority.
