Major Construction Works Framework Agreement
Notice Description
Norfolk County Council's major construction works framework expired on 30th September 2023. The Council has ongoing requirements for building/construction work and we have established a replacement framework to help meet these needs.
Lot Information
Construction Projects PS500,000 to PS4,500,000
Lot 1 is for medium size projects, refurbishments, remodelling extensions, demolitions and new builds. Works under Lot 1 will have a value of between PS500,000 and PS4,500,000. Seven Contractors are appointed to Lot 1. Additional information: The dates given in this notice represents the full duration of the framework. The initial framework term will be 36 months. The Council may, subject to agreement from all parties, extend the framework by a further 12 months. The maximum framework duration will be 48 months.
Construction Projects from PS4,500,000Lot 2 is for large often complex projects, a mix of projects for refurbishments, remodelling and new build. Works under Lot 2 will have a value starting from PS4,500,001. Five Contractors have been appointed to Lot 2. Additional information: The dates given in this notice represent the full duration of the framework. The initial framework term will be 36 months. The Council may, subject to agreement from all parties, extend the framework by a further 12 months. The maximum framework duration will be 48 months.
MMC Construction Projects up to PS2,500,000Lot 3 is for small to medium size new build projects that utilise modern methods of construction (2D offsite) and will be procured on a design and build basis following the accompanying DFE baseline ER's. Works under Lot 3 will have a maximum value of PS2,500,000. Framework Contractors will be expected to offer a full turnkey solution working with the Council's Design Service Contractors, NPS Property Consultants Ltd (referred to as the Agents). Additional information: The dates given in this notice represent the full duration of the framework. The initial framework term will be 36 months. The Council may, subject to agreement from all parties, extend the framework by a further 12 months. The maximum framework duration will be 48 months.
