Lancashire County Council is inviting tenders on the terms set out in this ITT to secure a multi-lotted framework agreement for the supply and direct delivery of: * Fresh bread, morning goods and sweet baked products to approximately 500 plus units including, schools, colleges, care homes and civic units. * Fresh non-halal meat to approximately 30 plus sites including care homes and civic units. * Soft drinks, crisps and confectionery products to over 60 units, including high schools, care homes and civic units.
Lot Information
Supply and Distribution of Fresh Bread, Morning Goods and Sweet Baked Products
LCC (Lancashire County Council) is inviting tenders on the terms set out in the ITT to secure a single supplier and distribution lot for the supply of fresh bread, morning good and sweet baked products into over 500 sites throughout the council. These sites will include primary and high schools, care homes and civic sites. The duration of the framework agreement will be for an initial period of 1 year, with the council having the option to extend for any given period up to maximum of a further 12 months. The framework is estimated to be between PS1,255,000 to PS1,506,000 per annum for Lancashire County Council Spend (PS2,510,000 to PS3,012,000 over 2 years). The value of participation by the wider public sector is estimated to be between PS0 to PS251,000 per annum (PS502,000 maximum over 2 years) - Please see section VI.3) - additional Information for further details regarding wider public sector participation. Tenderers should note, the value of this Lot may fluctuate and the annual/total value is not guaranteed.
Options: The initial Framework term is 1 year, the Council may in its absolute discretion, exercise the option to extend the term by any number of defined periods, so long as the maximum duration of the framework agreement does not exceed 2 years.
Renewal: The initial Framework term is 1 year, the Council may in its absolute discretion, extend the term by any number of defined periods, so long as the maximum duration of the framework agreement does not exceed 2 years. At either the end of the initial term or extended/maximum term, there may be a requirement for the services to continue, in this instance the services may be re-procured.

These sites will include high schools, care homes and civic sites. The duration of the framework agreement will be for an initial period of 1 year, with the council having the option to extend for any given period up to maximum of a further 12 months. The framework is estimated to be between PS479,000 to PS547,800 per annum for Lancashire County Council Spend (PS958,000 to PS1,149,600 over 2 years).
