Notice Description

East Renfrewshire Council is looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor(s) for a contract for the Council's winter gritting operations. Lot 2 of this contract is for the provision of Winter Maintenance, which includes plant, equipment and drivers/operators to enable East Renfrewshire Council to fulfil it's statutory duties and comply with it's Winter Maintenance Policy and Procedures in respect of its adopted road network.

Lot Information

Paths/Pavements/Car Parks for Council Buildings

Lot 1 of this contract is for the provision of Winter Maintenance Services to implement a gritting regime that will allow safe access and egress to Council properties during periods of winter weather at or below zero degrees centigrade. Additional information: Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 8 and 9 of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016.

Renewal: 2 x 12 month extension options included in the contract value of this notice.

Lot 2 - Public Roads

For the provision of Winter maintenance plant, equipment and drivers/operators to enable East Renfrewshire Council to fulfil its statutory duties and comply with its Winter Maintenance Policy and Procedures in respect of its adopted road network. It will be financed from annual winter maintenance revenue budgets. Additional information: Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 8 and 9 of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016.
