Summary of the contracting process

The Cabinet Office's Central Digital & Data Office is planning a public procurement process titled "Tech Track" in the services category, focused on education and training services. The anticipated contract value is around £38 million with a potential duration of 36 months. The procurement aims to upskill a cohort of 1,800 non-technical civil servants into Digital, Data and Technology professionals through apprenticeships. Key dates include an estimated ITT launch in October 2023, evaluation in November 2023, and contract award between November and December 2023.

This procurement opportunity is ideal for businesses in the education and training sector that specialise in software development, DevOps engineering, business analysis, and cyber security. Suppliers interested in participating should keep an eye out for the ITT launch in October 2023 and ensure timely registration on the DPS platform. The initiative aims to create a pipeline for apprenticeships and provide delivery of four apprenticeship standards, presenting a growth opportunity for businesses looking to engage with the government's upskilling programme.
