Insurance and related services for Property and Property Owners Liability, as required by Pickering & Ferens Homes
Property Damage and Property Owners Liability insurance for Pickering & Ferens Homes. The programme will require Insurance and related services for risks including property damage and related business interruption, property owners liability, to be decided at the sole discretion of Pickering & Ferens Homes.
Options: Pickering & Ferens Homes will consider entering into Long term agreements with the bidder and/or the risk carriers proposed by the bidder, for 3 years (or 3 periods of insurance), with the option to extend the award period by up to 2 further years (or 2 periods of insurance), subject to satisfactory service, performance and cost.
Renewal: Pickering & Ferens Homes will consider entering into Long term agreements with the bidder and/or the risk carriers proposed by the bidder, for 3 years (or 3 periods of insurance), with the option to extend the award period by up to 2 further years (or 2 periods of insurance), subject to satisfactory service, performance and cost.

The programme will require Insurance and related services for risks that may include but not be limited to: Damage and business interruption, employers, public, products liability, business combined/office, money, all risks, computer, contract works, group personal accident, professional indemnity, fidelity guarantee/crime and commercial legal expenses. This list is to be decided at the sole discretion of Pickering & Ferens Homes. This Lot excludes: Property and POL (See Lot 1). This Lot also excludes Engineering, Cyber, Terrorism and Directors and Officers Liability insurance covers which have been successfully procured.

Procurement Information
In relation to Contract Notice 2023/S 000-024285, none of the Bids received at ITT stage sufficiently met the requirement for Property Insurance specifically relating to full storm/flood protection in line with the Contracting Authority's expiring insurance arrangements at an affordable price. We will proceed to negotiate with the providers thought most likely to be able to meet as closely as possible the advertised requirement.
