Business Service Organisation (BSO) Procurement and logistic services (PaLS), on behalf of the * Belfast HSC Trust * Western HSC Trust * South Eastern HSC Trust * Southern HSC Trust * Northern HSC Trust * NI Ambulance Service Trust * NI Public Health Authority * NI Blood Transfusion Service * NI Fire and Rescue Service Wales * Aneurin Bevan University Health Board * Betsi Cadwaladr University Local Health Board * Cardiff and Vale University Local Health Board * Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board * Hywel Dda University Health Board * Powys Teaching Local Health Board * Swansea Bay University Health Board * Public Health Wales NHS Trust * Velindre University NHS Trust * Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust wish to seek engagement with the market place to ascertain the markets capabilities for the supply and delivery of Luer Lock Syringes to use with syringe drivers and pumps that deliver drugs. The Health and Social Care in Northern Ireland and NHS Wales wish to investigate with a completion of a pre market engagement questionnaire and possible product awareness session. The pre market engagement questionnaire will provide a brief introduction and background information on Luer Lock Syringes and use with syringe drivers and pain pumps. The questionnaire will be used to assist the Contracting Authority and Trusts in both regions to gain an understanding of A. The ability of the supply base to fully appreciate and consider the particular requirements surrounding luer lock syringes B. Maintain value for money for HSCNI and NHS Wales if potential re calibration of syringe drivers and pumps for drug treatments are needed. C. To identify solutions to the management of clinical risks, additional financial costs and logistical/workload issues for HSCNI and NHS Wales if potential re calibration of syringe drivers and pumps for drug treatments are needed. If further engagement is required we will hold a product awareness Q and A session. This session will be a opportunity for relevant suppliers to provide further information of what is currently available or practiced in the marketplace. If required the product awareness session will be held via a 30 minute Teams Meeting week commencing 9th October 2023 If invited for a product awareness session an invite will be sent week commencing 2nd October 2023. Please note these sessions will be limited as deemed appropriate by the Authority. Additional information: What you need to do now:. . . 1.If not registered on eTendersNI please do so ASAP.. .. 2 Request a copy of the Pre Market Engagement Questionnaire from PalsCollegeStR1A@hscni.net no later than 3.00pm 19th September 2023.. 3 Ensure you return your completed Pre Market Questionnaire by 3.00pm 25th September 2023.. 4 Please ensure you would be free to attend a possible product awareness session week commencing 9th October 2023. Suppliers should note that any interest shown does not constitute a commitment to participate in any future tendering exercise. Non participation in this market engagement process does not preclude any suppliers from participating in any future procurement process.
