St Peter's School & Sixth Form and Cambourne Village College are seeking Catering service providers to tender for the provision of all catering services presently offered within the Schools, which currently includes breakfast, morning break, lunch and all hospitality and free issue requirements.

The Cam Academy Trust currently oversees a group of seven primary phase, four secondary Schools and two sixth form Colleges in South Cambridgeshire and Huntingdon, with one just over the border in central Bedfordshire. Based in Cambridge, St Peter's School & Sixth Form are one of the Cam Academy Trust Schools, who are committed to providing a positive learning environment in which every student can achieve his or her best. Cambourne Village College, another academy of The Cam Academy Trust, opened in brand new premises in September 2013 with just five forms of Year 7 pupils. Serving one of the fastest-growing communities in the UK, they now have more than 1,300 pupils on roll, with major further expansion planned, including the opening of our new sixth form centre in September 2024. St Peter's School & Sixth Form and Cambourne Village College are seeking Catering service providers to tender for the provision of all catering services presently offered within the Schools, which currently includes breakfast, morning break, lunch and all hospitality and free issue requirements. The contract will be for three years in duration, with the option to extend for a further one period of up to two years and with a commencement date of 1st August 2024. Full details will be included in the Invitation to Tender. TUPE regulations apply to this contract, which involves the transfer of existing catering staff, of which some may be members of the Local Government Pension Scheme, requiring arrangements to be made for 'Admitted Body' status with the relevant pension fund.
