London Borough of Haringey invites potential providers to attend a pre-tender Market Engagement Event for the provision of specialist adaptations: Step lifts, Through floor lifts, Stairlifts, Ceiling Track Hoists. The Market Engagement Event will be held on: Date: 4th December 2023 Time: 2-3pm Venue: Online (Microsoft Teams) Haringey Adaptation Services Haringey Council is keen to engage the provider market in shaping the new service, for the provision of Stairlifts, Step lifts, Through floor lifts and Ceiling Track Hoists. In common with all Councils, Haringey Council is facing unprecedented pressures on its Adult Social Services, with increased demand due to demographic changes, new legislation, and changes to local government financial systems. The demands on Adult Social Services are becoming more pressured with the number of referrals for adaptations increasing year on year. The council is seeking to streamline the provision of specific specialist adaptations, namely Stairlifts, Step Lifts, Through Floor Lifts and Ceiling Track Hoists. The scope should address areas such as anticipated demand or volumes, whether the supplier is to supply only, supply and install, provide training, provide support documentation, etc. and, where appropriate, should identify specifically what is not included.
