Summary of the contracting process

Natural Resources Wales initiated a tender for the Direct Production Harvesting Dynamic Purchasing System. This tender opportunity presents a chance for forestry and logging businesses specialising in timber harvesting services. The procurement process had multiple stages, including awarding contracts to suppliers for specific geographical regions within Wales. To succeed in this tender, businesses need to demonstrate expertise in felling, processing, and extraction of trees, as well as a commitment to meeting specified timber quality standards set by Natural Resources Wales.
