This procurement is designed to provide educational services to learners who cannot receive suitable education due to exclusion, illness, or other reasons. Operating under a complete status, the process opened on 1st April 2024 and will remain active throughout the seven-year term. Comprised of four primary lots, the DPS includes Full-Time Education Provision, Part-Time Education Provision, Bespoke Provision, and Support for post-16 Education and Preparation for Adulthood. This service has an estimated annual value of £2.7 million and follows an open procurement method. This procurement opens a myriad of opportunities for diverse businesses specialising in educational services. By participating in this DPS, organisations can adapt and develop their offerings to align with Hillingdon's requirements, facilitating business growth. The framework allows continuous entry and enhancement, promising accessibility for both new and established providers to partake in mini tournaments and call-offs, leading to arrangements like Individual Placement Agreements and Block Service Orders. Businesses that exhibit agility and innovation in educational services, particularly for SEND and inclusion, are well-positioned to leverage opportunities in this demand-led market. Participating companies include SMEs such as Resolve AP and Squarescope Limited, highlighting the appeal for small to medium-sized enterprises across locales, including Leeds and Derby. Businesses excelling in tailor-made and supportive educational frameworks, catering to diverse learning needs, will find abundant prospects within this procurement landscape.
