The primary objective of this project is to transform this historic property into the official residence of the UK's Permanent Representative to the United Nations. Built in 1910, the property is a seven-story, one-family townhouse, featuring a cellar and a sub-cellar. This project also presents an opportunity to design and customize the currently unfinished wet areas to align with the FCDO's preferences and requirements. Main objectives of the project: > Create a new layout for ancillary spaces and all bedrooms. > Design and install a new semi-professional kitchen and a family kitchen/kitchenette within the private quarters. > Integrate a new dumbwaiter to facilitate seamless service between public spaces and back-of-house areas. > Implement new surface finishes and lighting design/fixtures throughout the entire residence, where existing is not suitable. > Design and install new window treatments for the entire residence. > Implement a Waterproofing system to prevent water ingress into the property > Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance where feasible.
